It was quite an eye-opener to see how cramped it was inside. The crew have to share the bed space. Once one has finished a shift they grab the next available bed space – you’ve heard of hot desking, this is like hot-bedding!
Yes I’m sure it would, still pretty good to go in it though! Quite a long time ago a friend and I were going to go on a submarine with glass sides (so you could see all the 🐠) well on the day we were due to go, it was cancelled because the sub had broken down. I’m so glad that we didn’t go in it and then it broke down!

I can’t imagine having to stay on one of those for months at a time…. and I’m not even claustrophobic! How do people do it?!
